About - Pipedream German Shorthaired Pointers - Quality, versatile dogs for show, obedience, hunting and companion homes.

We are a small kennel located on a farm in East Central Alberta.

I have been involved with showing and trialing purebred dogs for over 20 years – German Shorthaired Pointers for the past ten.

I actively participate in conformation, obedience, rally obedience, and most recently hunt tests.

For me there are two purposes for showing and trialing the dogs. First and foremost these dogs are my passion, I love training and I love dog shows.

As an added bonus showing and trialing allows me to demonstrate the dogs’ temperaments, trainability, sound conformation and hunting ability.

Many years ago I was fortunate to have met Karen Ibbitson of Malhaven Kennels, who has been producing quality German Shorthaired Pointers for over 30 years. Mentor and friend, Karen is an invaluable resource of experience and information which she generously shares.
